Kate Schultz

Kate leads Schechter’s Talent function where she is responsible for creating and executing our Talent strategy. Her functions include, among others, attracting and retaining exceptional professionals, building an extraordinary culture in line with our core values, positioning Schechter as the Place to Be, developing talent information systems, and leading key initiatives such as Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB).

Kate has more than 16 years of professional experience in the Talent field having worked at large, small, and midsize companies in the healthcare, manufacturing, education, and non-profit verticals. Kate maintains several affiliations including the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), the Valley Society for Human Resources Management (VSHRM), and the PRIME/Marshall Plan for Talent/M-46 Consortium Board among others. Furthermore, she has a M.A. in Human Resources from Central Michigan and a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM.

She currently resides in the Saginaw, Michigan area with her husband, Kurt, and their 2 sons, Reed, and Grey. Kate and her family enjoy spending time outdoors in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
