Schechter Named Detroit Free Press 2024 Michigan Top Workplace

Schechter has been awarded a coveted spot on the list of Michigan's Top Workplaces for 2024. This recognition highlights Schechter's ongoing commitment to fostering a positive, employee-focused culture, setting it apart as one of the state's best employers.

The Michigan Top Workplaces program, now in its 17th year, identifies outstanding employers based on employee feedback gathered through a workplace culture survey. This survey, administered by the Detroit Free Press in partnership with Energage, evaluates companies on factors such as communication, leadership, and career development.

To be eligible for the award, organizations with 50 or more employees in Michigan could participate. Nearly 200 companies across the state earned recognition this year, with Schechter proudly included among them. The program’s survey, which was conducted over the summer, received input from 88,570 Michigan employees, yielding a strong 58.1% response rate.

The recognition is based on the voices of the employees themselves, ensuring that the companies on the list truly reflect a positive workplace environment. Schechter’s achievement places it in the company of other top employers in Michigan, reinforcing its reputation as a leading workplace within the state.

This year’s Top Workplaces program saw 276 companies participate, with 32 newcomers making their debut on the list. With over 6,800 companies invited to participate, Schechter’s inclusion speaks to the company's commitment to creating a work culture that values and supports its employees.

In addition to its award, Schechter is in great company, with well-known Michigan brands like Buddy's Pizza and Serra Ford Buick GMC Rochester Hills also earning top honors in 2024.
